It's up to you ...

Quoting johnfn: "The amount of skill that you have in a certain area is proportional to the amount of work that you put into it. There is no such thing as a 'creative' or 'technical' type."

It is so true. We could do anything, or everything as long as we dedicated to do it. Of course, we wouldn't call ourselves as expert, but at least, we are not inept or spastic. To be an expert, we need to do it 10,000-hours rule (according to Malcolm Gladwell in his book: Outliers).

Be it learning to play piano at older age or cooking without knowledge on ingredients or steering a yacht/boat on the vast ocean or changing to a new job with zero experience.

Problem is, do you have the time, energy and commitment?

Colour of life

They are rainbow of our life, the other side of our dull and stagnant black or white, and most importantly, they always be there for us when we are down and out.

'Bright-iful', beautiful and truthful are what we called colourful-friends.

Happy Mother's Day

Be it father or mother, we should cherish them everyday. Not until certain date or particular events ... or worse, when they are not around anymore.

Being Loved

No word can describe those feeling. But when you are really 'in love' and 'being loved', your expression and body language are the best way to show it - naturally.

You can't fake them. You can't exaggerate them. You just let it be, just like that ... (essential tip for bride & groom-to-be to posed during wedding photo session)

Jump Out-of-Box

Before I think out-of-box, I jump first ... all over the places!!

Life is ...

... like rowing a boat in the ocean.

10 Basic Ideas of 'Row, Row, Row Your Boat':

i) You will never know what the vast ocean ahead of you going to astonish you.

ii) Never row your boat alone.

iii) If you do, make sure that is a short journey.

iv) Be physically and mentally well prepared, and keep them checked all the time.

v) Row according to your pace. It's a journey, not a race!!

vi) There is time when you are too tired to continue. Take a break and let the boat adrift - but not for too long.

vii) When your boat leaked, you got no choice but to fix it. No time for procrastination.

viii) Don't freak out about what's lie beneath the ocean for you can't even see them - you only imagine the dark side. You are on the surface anyway, so always look at the bright side.

ix) Enjoy every moment of it. You will probably never take the same route again on the vast ocean.

x) Remember, your life stop when you give up rowing.

Love from the Small ones

... my lovely cousins who keep on calling me "Little Uncle" every time I go back to hometown. Their sweet and 'annoying' voices always playing in my mind, all the time.

... To him, his everyday task would be relentlessly and happily waiting for me, even before I come down from my car.

You just need to open your eyes, things will just come into your mind. Sweet, sour, bitter or spicy - let it be the taste of your eyes.
